Today was scheduled not to be a running day but a yoga day instead. I had a massage earlier to try and finally get rid of the achilles problem. It is a lot better but still in the morning it is as tight as a budgies chuff and so stiff until I have walked down the stairs and back and then it is fine for the rest of the day. But looking back at the problem I have moved on so much I still remember the panic when I went on mt first 20 min run thinking it was going to 'ping' at any moment and tear even more and now I can go for an hour easily and still feel like I can go for some more.
The only down side of tonight was I went on a new route and it was shorter than I thought so I ended up weaving and wondering all the why home and once I had done some roads three times I headed home to find myself finishing 7 minutes short of the 45. Ah well - every second counts.

Due to the snow in Plymouth I've taken 7 days off training this year!
