What a very scary bike ride today was. It was cold but very clear and the sun was starting to get above the clouds. However, there was quite a lot of ice about. I managed to avoid it all until right towards the end whilst entering East Hanningfield and going over a large patch of ice and when getting to the end I was suddenly upside down and sliding and spinning on my back across the road. I went down hard on my right knee and it was hurting to start with but managed to ride back ok. As the day wore on it was getting stiffer and stiffer. I'll rub some arnica cream on it to hopefully help with the bruising but we will see.
Will have to wait and see how it is before going for a run tomorrow.
